Dragonfly Garden Slimline Cards

I was recently was challenged to make 12 Slimline cards for a swap with the Queens of the Stamp Age team members. So of course I used my new Dragonfly Garden stamp set that is available in December to ALL Stampin' UP! Demonstrators and on January 5th to the public. This stamp set is so fun because it has a punch that matches it and matching Designer Series Paper (DSP).

Front of my slimline card. I ended up adding a ladybug to each one of my swap and you can see those ones below!

Inside of the slimline. I made a fun fold card which allows you to see the dragonfly both when the card is opened and closed.

Can you spot the cute little metal ladybug? She is part of the products that go along with this Mega Suite!

You can make this card too by shopping online with me and following the steps below.

Steps
  1. Measure and score your paper. For your card base, measure 3 inches from the top of the front and cut it to the score line. Then from the top of the card cut down the score line to meet it at the 3 inch cut. Remove extra piece.
  2. Stamp in Seaside Spray ink your flowers on the 3 x 5 1/4 Whisper White. Stamp also on the 3 x 8 1/4 in Seaside Spray about in the middle.
  3. Glue the DSP to the top of the stamped Whisper White 3 x 8 1/4 piece and glue inside the cardbase.
  4. Stamp a dragonfly in Misty Moonlight, color with blends and punch out with Dragonflies Punch.  Attach to DSP with dimensionals and use wink of stella on the wings.
  5. On the Seaside Spray stamp in Misty Moonlight "For a True Friend" and using the Lovely You Punch, punch out one end of the label. Glue to the Whisper White.
  6. Glue the flower Whisper White piece to the front of the card and attach a ladybug with a glue dot.

Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
