Fun Fold Friday- Sweet Strawberry Peek-a-boo Corner

Strawberries are one of my favorite things! I love the smell, the taste, even the color of strawberries will make me smile. So I am loving this Berry Delightful Sale-a-bration DSP. The only thing that makes it sad is that it will no longer be available after February! I love this DSP so much that today's card is giving you a way to show off both side of this DSP! Scroll through each photo of tips, read the supply list and steps, and watch my video below.

The great thing about this card is that the paper does all the heavy lifting. So pretty with so little stamping.

Don't forget the inside of your card! I had "leftovers" from when I cut 2 pieces of the dsp and so I cut that to 3/4 x 4 and have this cute little inside border!

Did you spot that 3D strawberry on the front? Watch the video and I'll teach you how to make it with ease using the Strawberry Builder Punch.

DSP: 4 x 5 1/4
4 x 3/4
Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4
3 x 4

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut your paper.
  2. Stamp on the corner of the 3 x 4 in Shaded Spruce and stamp thank you onto the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White.
  3. Glue the 3 x 4 to the cardbase front and the inside thank you to the inside. Glue that strip of dsp to the inside Basic White as well.
  4. Use your bone folder on one corner of the DSP and make it "roll". Put adhesive on the DSP but leave that rolled corner bare. Glue down that free corner with a glue dot and make a roll shape.
  5. 3D Strawberry: stamp 3 strawberries onto Poppy Parade with Poppy Parade Ink. Punch them out and score them each in the middle. Use liquid glue and attach each one.
  6. Make 3 stems with the Strawberry Builder punch out of Shaded Spruce and cut off the top stem off two of them. Glue them to the strawberry and put the one with the top still on in the middle.
  7. Attach strawberry to card front and embellish with rhinestones.
