Royals Team Kit- Sweet Ice Cream Cards

 


I scream, you scream, we all scream for Sweet Ice Cream!!! Here is my Royals Team Kit using the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and paper. Scroll down for directions for each card and watch my video at the very end. :)

Melt My Heart card features the stamp set and the Happy Birthday really shows off the DSP to make the ice cream cones and scoops. 

These two cards show how you can create punch art and a little stamping.

Basic Black CS

Ink: Pool Party, Cinnamon Cider, Bumblebee, Terracotta Tile, & Bermuda Bay
Pool Party Ribbon

Painted Texture Embossing Folder
Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder
Many Heart Dies
Stitched Shapes Dies

Measurements
Bumblebee Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
So Saffron: 4 x 5 1/4
Bermuda Bay: 2 1/8 x 4 7/8
DSP: 2 x 4 3/4
Bumblebee: 3 1/8 x 2 3/8
Basic White: 3 x 2 1/4

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut your paper. 
  2. Punch out your ice cream colors and stamp one Cinnamon Cider cone. Stamp sprinkles on one of your ice cream flavors and stamp onto your punched cone. 
  3. Stamp in Cinnamon Cider "You're So Cool" on the bottom of your 3 x 2 1/4 Basic White and stamp sprinkles in a light blue (Pool Party) all around.
  4. Emboss your So Saffron with the Painted Texture embossing folder. 
  5. Glue all your layers together and use dimensionals to pop up your Ice Cream cone image. 
  6. Make a bow out of linen thread and attach with a glue dot. 



Measurements
Old Olive Cardbase: 4 1/4 x 11 scored @ 5 1/2
DSP: 4 x 5 1/4
Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut  your paper. 
  2. Die cut your Stitched Nested Label in Basic White and Die cut your heart out of Blushing Bride. 
  3. Stamp in Blackberry Bliss onto your heart. 
  4. Stamp your popsicles in Terracotta Tile, Bumblebee and Bermuda Bay. Use Cinnamon Cider for your sticks and don't forget your melting drip. 
  5. Glue your DSP to your cardbase and attach your popsicles. 
  6. Use a piece of Polka Tulle Ribbon behind your heart and attach with dimensionals.   
  7. Embellish on your heart with the Blue adhesive back gem. 



Measurements
Thick Basic White Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
Basic White: 5 1/2 x 3 1/4
DSP: 5 1/2 x 1

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut your paper. 
  2. Emboss your Basic White with the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder. Glue it and the DSP to the card front.
  3. Die cut a small stitched circle in Bumblebe.
  4. Stamp 2 popsicle sticks and fussy cut them out. 
  5. Emboss in white the Happy Birthday onto Terracotta Tile and fussy cut out. Emboss in white onto Bumblebee paper and cut each word out. Glue to card front. 
  6. Punch out 2 Basic Black and one Terracotta Tile ice cream scoops.
  7. Mickey Mouse: Cut the Terracotta scoop in half and attach to the black scoop. Use sprinkles to make Mickey's buttons. Glue the stick at the bottom. 
  8. Minnie Mouse: Punch out 2 hearts from the Dog Punch and glue onto of the basic black ice cream scoop. Use a sprinkle for the middle of the bow. Glue the stick at the bottom. 
  9. Attach Minnie and Mickey with dimensionals and add sprinkles at random with tombow glue


Measurements
Bermuda Bay Cardbase: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Bermuda Bay: 2 1/2 x 10 1/2 scored @ 5 1/4
DSP 4 x 5 1/4
2 Basic White: 2 1/4 x 5 

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut your paper. 
  2. Stamp Happy Birthday in Bermuda Bay onto one of your Basic White pieces and some Pool Party Sprinkles. 
  3. Punch out of the Ice Cream Corner DSP the cone and 4 scoops of ice cream. Glue to the Basic White.
  4. Wrap the ribbon around the Basic White and then glue to the Bermuda Bay "mini" cardbase. Glue the other 2 1/4 x 5 Basic White in the inside. 
  5. Glue DSP to the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Bermuda Bay and then attach the mini cardbase to that.
