Fun Fold Friday- Butterfly Brilliance Twist Easel Card

 

Today's Fun Fold Friday comes with a "twist"! I used the Butterfly Brilliance and created this Twist Easel Card! I used the Many Messages stamp set and dies for my saying! I hope you love it too! Scroll down to see my video on how to create this card. :)

Here is what the cards looks like when it is all popped up! I used that little butterfly with a dimensionals to help keep the card up. 

Here is a view from it from the top. Once open, it will sit flat on the bottom and the top with be popped up.

Measurements

Basic Black Cardbase: 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4 & Diagonal score (see video)

DSP & Basic White: 4 x 4

DSP: 2 x 4

Pool Party or Bermuda Bay: 4 1/8 x 4 1/8

Calypso Coral: 4 x 1/2

Steps

1. Measure, score, and cut your paper.
2. Stamp in Memento Ink onto your So Saffron and die cut one or all 6 butterflies. 
3. Die cut a small detailed butterfly in Basic Black. 
4. Die cut a solid vellum butterfly. 
5. Use the Many Messages stamp set or any greeting and label for your words. 
6. Glue you 4 x 4 DSP to the Pool Party cardstock. Attach the butterflies with glue dots and use dimensionals to add your label. 
7. Embellish with gems.
8. Take your cardbase and add a diagonal score line underneath the 4 1/4 score line from top left to bottom right using your paper trimmer. 
9. Attach with glue on the bottom triangle (under the score) the butterfly front. 
10. Inside: Die cut a little butterfly in Coral. Glue the 2 x 4 DSP to the Basic White and add the Coral strip on top the DSP. Attach the butterfly with a mini dimensional and then glue the whole piece to the inside of the card. Have it going perpendicular to the card front (see video).
