Fun Fold Friday- Beautiful World Tuck & Flap Card

This Fun Fold looks normal from the outside but once you open it you reveal another layer to unfold! This card is the perfect graduation card and for any world traveler!

I used the soon to be retiring Beautiful World stamp set, World Map Dies, the Old World Paper embossing folder, Memories and More card pack, and the little buckle is from the Antiqued Corners  & Slides Elements. (Links all below) It is usually best to bundle the stamp set and dies but right now the BETTER deal is to buy separately because the dies are like 70% off!

*Beautiful World Stamp Set

*World Map Dies: Was $31 Now $7.75

*Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder: Was $10 Now $9

*World of Good Memories and More Card Pack: Was $11 Now $4.40

*Antiqued Corners & Slides Elements: Was $8.50 Now $3.40

* Retiring May 3rd, 2021

Here is what the card looks like after you lift the first flap.

Here are the measurements and good visual of the card fully opened. If you wanted to you could even add some extra DSP to the inside flap as well.

This card can stand alone and looks amazing!!!

Here is a close up so you can see the texture in the Cinnamon Cider piece using the Old World 3D embossing folder.

DSP: 5 1/4 x 4
5 1/4 x 3
Cinnamon Cider: 3 x 3
Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut your paper.
  2. For your cardbase, cut off one of the scored corners on the score line (4 14 x 5 1/2). Then directly below the piece you removed, cut off 1/2 on both sides up to the score line (see video or picture above).
  3. Emboss the 3 x 3 Cinnamon Cider and tear off the edges.
  4. Die cut your globe in Garden Green, Circle in Misty Moonlight and stand in Gold Foil. Glue those globes togethers.
  5. Use white embossing powder and on Basic Black paper and heat emboss "Adventure Awaits". Fussy cut it out.
  6. Attach your DSP to the front and inside flap. Then glue on the Basic White to the very inside layer.
  7. Using glue dots attach the embossed Cinnamon Cider to the front.
  8. Thread your ribbon through the buckle and attach with a glue dot.
  9. Attach gold stand over the ribbon with a dimensional and then add the globe with dimensionals on top of that.
  10. Glue on your "Adventure Awaits" and you are done!
