Wednesday's Kit Class-Lighthearted Lines

Today's Wednesday's Kit Class is all about the Simple Stampin'. Just Stamps, Ink and Paper (SIP)! I used a 6 x 6 One Sheet Wonder and didn't embellish at all. However, this would be a easy layout to "step up" with a punch here and some ribbon there. All you need to make 4 cards are 4 pieces of cardstock (2 white and 2 any color), ink to match cardstock, stamp set of choice and one 6 x 6 piece of Designer Series Paper.

You can get all the paper pieces to this kit if you order between May 12-May 14th with the Hostess Code MHDHXHRS $35 worth from my online store. Below is the link to do your shopping with and a list of items I suggest to get to help you complete your kit.

I just love the saying from this stamp set, "Don't grow up (It's a trap)" .

This one says, "Thanks for lending an ear and for keeping a straight face."

"When nothing goes right, go left."

This Fun Birthday one says, "To a person who's still got it...but might not remember where they put it. Happy Birthday!"

Measurements
Polished Pink Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
2 Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4
DSP: 6 x 6

How to cut the DSP
  1. Measure from the left corner on each side at 1 1/2 and mark with a pencil.
  2. Line up the marks in your paper trimmer that go across from each other and cut from mark to mark.
  3. Keeping the paper together, carefully rotate it to make the cut on the other side.

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut your paper.
  2. Layout the  DSP on all 4 of the Basic White 4 x 5 1/4. Most will go nicely in the top right corner.
  3. Then stamp your greetings in the spaces that fit best. You can change the direction on of the card if wanted.
  4. Glue down your DSP and glue the inside Basic White piece.
