Miss Monday- Bloom Where You're Planted DSP Cards

Today's Miss Monday Cards were inspired by Stampin' Susan Wong. She shared a card with this layout (no measurements) and I was able to create it my own measurements and some extra details.

I made the card on the left simple and the card on the right with some extra embellishing steps.
However, the DSP I used for these cards are the same, just FLIPPED! Every card you make with DSP gives you two choices. It is up to you to pick which looks best and play around a little bit.

This card added the twine nest, rhinestones, and the Just Jade scallop Border (from the Penned Flower Dies).

The Cinnamon Cider doesn't cover the whole back of the DSP. So when adding the glue to attach it, put the glue on the Cinnamon Cider and just avoid the very edges.

I just LOVE how simple this one is and could even be a manly card! The Bloom Where You're Planted DSP is on Sale through the end of July for 15% off! Be sure to order it, even if you don't have the matching stamp set (I don't have the matching stamp set yet).

You'll have to let me know which is your favorite?
Make these cards by following the steps below and shopping with me at my online store.

  5. Die cut a Just Jade stitched border from a piece of 2 3/4 x 3/4. Glue to the back of the DSP.
  6. Stamp in Just Jade the saying on Basic White and cut each end at an angle.
  7. Wrap about 6 times or 32 inches worth of twine around your fingers to create a circle nest. Attach to the back of the saying piece with dimensionals. Then attach to the card.
  8. Embellish with rhinestones.
