Stamp & Share Crew Tutorial- Kite Delight

The thing I love most about the Stamp & Share Design Team is that they give great Tutorials using stamp sets that I don't have, like the Kite Delight.

Here is the fun Spring stamp set! Visit my online store if you want to add this to your stamp collection.

·       Balmy Blue card base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2” and burnished with the Bone Folder

·       Basic White: 4-1/4” x 11”

Instructions:

1.     With Balmy Blue ink, stamp clouds on card base.

2.     Using Cloud Punch, punch 3 clouds out of Basic White taking care to keep them close together as you’ll need the rest of the cardstock for other steps. Align so two clouds go off the edge of the card front. Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Trim edges with Paper Snips.

3.     With StazOn ink, stamp kites, kite tails, and sentiment on remaining Basic White cardstock. Punch sentiment with Cloud Punch and set aside.

4.     Color kites and tails with the following Stampin’ Write Markers: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, and Daffodil Delight. Very lightly brush kite tails with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. Cut out with Paper Snips.

5.     Using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals for the kite tails and regular Stampin’ Dimensionals for the kites, attach to card front.

6.     Adhere sentiment to lower right with Stampin’ Dimensional.

Instructions:

1.     Score base at the 3 ¼” score mark

2.     On the larger white piece stamp the sentiment and kit with Tuxedo Black Memento ink as shown.  Using a piece of post-it note paper – stamp and cut out a mask of just the kite.  Layer over the image on white, and stamp clouds with Balmy Blue as shown.

4.     On the portion that is left color the kite and tail bows with blends. Then adhere to the front panel of the card.

5.     Stamp the sun on the scrap using Tuxedo Black Memento ink, color with Daffodil Delight blends and fussy cut.  Adhere at the upper left hand portion of the front with a dimensional – allowing it to overhang a bit.

6.     Add a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center of each bow.

7.     Adhere last white piece to inside left portion of the card – you can add an inside sentiment if desired.
