Wonderful Wednesday- Flowering Tulips

It is Wonderful Wednesday! That means that when you order from me today I'll send you the Wonderful Wednesday gift! For the month of February it was the Faux Sea Glass, but that was so popular that it has sold out! So, I'll send you the Brushed Brass Butterflies instead!
Just order use the Hostess Code WJA7FYAW at my online store

I made this card using the Flowering Tulips Bundle! I CASED this card from the Stamp Therapist from Pinterest. Tulips are my all time favorite flower!!! This bundle has dies for you to build your own tulips and stamps to create flowers with ink and paper.

Here is a sample of the stamped tulips that I put inside the card.

There are a lot of Tulip Dies and may seem overwhelming on how to build your tulips. Here are the dies and papers I cut out to create mine. Be sure to watch the video to see how I put each one together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Glue Dots.

This card is truly beautiful and I hope you give it a try!

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut your paper.
  2. Die cut out your tulips using the Simply Marbleous DSP (use the image guide above).
  3. Assemble your tulips with liquid glue and glue dots.
  4. Die cut a Stitched Rectangle in Vellum.
  5. Die cut in Highland Heather and Basic White circles from the Layering Circle dies. Pick the size that will fit your saying and stamp it in Highland Heather. Glue it to the scallop Highland Heather.
  6. Stamp on Pear Pizzaz with Evening Evergreen the leaves (2 large, 1 one) and stems (3).
  7. Stamp on the Basic White a tulip in the corner and glue that to the inside of your cardbase.
  8. Assemble: Glue your DSP to your cardbase. Attach the vellum with glue dots in each corner. Line up where you want everything to be on your vellum and attach the the stems first with a glue dot at the top. Attach the leaves next with a glue dot and the flowers last with a glue dot. Using dimensionals attach the layering circle over the bottom where the stems begin.
  9. Embellish with 3 Brush Brass Butterflies (BBB).

Once the Simply Marbleous is no longer available you can use the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper in it's place. I also used the Timeless Tulips to stamp the greeting for these swaps.
