Fun Fold Friday- Decorative Borders + Sending Support

 

Fun Fold Friday with card inspired by Kim Williams! 

This card combines two Sale-a-bration products (FREE with a $50 or $100 order) with a New stamp set from the Mini Catalog...Decorative Borders. 

The Decorative Borders stamp set is very floral and images are made perfect for framing borders or can be the center of the card like this one. 

I used my Stampin' Blends and Memento Ink to stamp and color in the flowers.

Once the card is open you can truly see why this is a Fun Fold but it also reveals one of my favorite saying from the Sale-a-bration set, Sending Support. "It's okay not to feel okay." It is a perfect reminder to us to be a little more human and a little less perfect. Sadly, sometimes we need to see or hear that and sending a Fun Fold card just might be what someone needs.

Supplies

Decorative Borders Stamp Set

*SAB Sending Support Stamp Set

*SAB Dandy Designs

Paper- Basic White, Balmy Blue

Ink- Balmy Blue, Memento Black

Stampin' Blends- Soft Succulent (light), Evening Evergreen (light), Balmy Blue (light), Tahitian Tide (light)

Adhesive- Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Glossy Dots

Measurements

Balmy Blue: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2

2 1/4 x 10 1/2 scored @ 5 1/4

DSP (2): 5 1/4 x 3/4

Basic White (2): 5 1/4 x 2 (trim to fit)

Steps

1. Measure, score, and cut your paper. 
2. Stamp off in Balmy Blue onto the Basic White the vine of leaves on the top and the bottom. Stamp in Memento Black Ink in the middle of the Basic White the floral image and color with your Stampin' Blends. Stamp the saying in the bottom right corner in Memento Black.
3.  Stamp on the other Basic White the lace image on the far right edge in Balmy Blue. Stamp the saying in the center in Memento Black. 
4. Glue the Basic White to the front of the scored Balmy Blue and the inside. You may need to trim to fit on the ends. 
5. Glue the DSP to the top and bottom of the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Balmy Blue .Then glue in the center the Balmy Blue center piece. 
6. Embellish with a Glossy Dots in the middle of the top flower and two small ones on each side along the leaves.
