Manly Monday- Sweet Citrus

Manly Monday using the Sweet Citrus Bundle!
This is the card I designed for the Stamp & Share Design Crew and I love how simple but "zesty" it is!

·       Card Stock and Paper: Basic White (159276); Parakeet Party (159259); Sale-a-bation Dandy Designs 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (DSP) (160836)

·       Stamp Pads: Garden Green (102584); Parakeet Party (159208)

·       Tools:  Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder (160644); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)

·       Miscellaneous: Rhinestones Basic Jewels (144220); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813); Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack (159220)

Measurements:

·       Parakeet Party: 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored @ 4 ¼”

·       Basic White: 4” x 5 ¼” (inside), 3 ½” x 4 ½” (stamped), ½” x 3 ½” (banner)

·       DSP: 4 ¾” x 3 ¾ “

Instructions:

1.     Measure, score, and cut your paper.

2.     Use Clear Block E to stamp the limes. Stamp the outline with Garden Green onto the center of the 3 1/2” x 4 ½” Basic White. Stamp the inside of the lime with Parakeet Party.

3.     Line up the stamped image inside the Sweet Citrus Embossing Folder and run through your Stampin” Cut & Emboss Machine (it is okay if it doesn’t line up perfectly).

4.     Stamp in Garden Green the saying “Have a Zesty Birthday!” onto the banner Basic White piece and cut each end diagonally with your Paper Snips.

5.     Attach with Seal the DSP to the front of the cardbase. Attach over that at a slant the stamped and embossed Basic White. Attach the banner piece with Dimensionals.

6.     Use the Dark Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends to color 3 Rhinestones and attach to the card front near the stamped limes.

7.     Use Seal to attach the 4” x 5 ¼” Basic White for the inside of the card.

Quick Tip: Stamp first and then emboss.

It is easy to line up the stamped images with the embossing folder. I am okay with mine not lining up perfectly but you can line it just right if you try.

Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
