I love Valentine's Day cards with a little bit of blue. I feel it makes it look more masculine even when surrounded by hearts and flowers.

This card really shows off the Designer Series Paper and is perfect for your bike loving friends.

When you cut the DSP for the front you have some leftover pieces which is perfect to flip and put inside the card.

Measurements
Balmy Blue Cardbase: 4 1/4 x 11 scored @ 5 1/2
Gingham DSP: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
4 x 1/2
Bike DSP: 3 x 5 1/2
Balmy Blue (2): 1/2 x 5 1/2
Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4
Petal Pink: 3 x 1

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut your paper.
  2. Stamp in Sweet Sorbet onto the Petal Pink.
  3. Glue the Gingham DSP to the front of the cardbase and the Gingham strip to the inside onto the Basic White. Use Stampin' Seal+ to glue the Basic White to the inside of the card.
  4. Glue on the back of the bike DSP the Balmy Blue strips. Glue that all to the front of the card.
  5. Glue on the Petal Pink and embellish with the Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins.

The card really shows off just how pretty this Country Floral DSP is.

This layout could be used with lots of DSP combos. Just use the measurements below.

Measurements
Mint Macaron Cardbase: 4 1/4 x 11 scored @ 5 1/2
Sahara Sand: 4 1/8 x 5 3 /8
DSP (5): 4 x 1

3 x 3 (punch)

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut your paper.
  2. Die cut out of Basic White the Eden Dies label.
  3. Stamp on the label with Sweet Sorbet.
  4. Stamp on the Basic White the large heart in Sweet Sorbet and the small heart in Mint Macaron. Punch them both out. Glue those two hearts to the back of the Basic White label.
  5. Glue the DSP panels onto the Sahara Sand with liquid glue (see video for tip on gluing and spacing).
  6. Attach the label with dimensionals.

This card is so much fun and uses the DSP to make the center flower.

You can make this card too when you follow my directions below.

DSP: about 3 x 3

  8. Glue on the little hearts.
  9. Make a double bow and attach to the stems with a glue dot.
  10. Embellish with the heart peals.

This card shows how you can create that big floral heart using two inks.

I just love the saying for the inside of this card but you can change it to say whatever you want in the inside.

I created a "faux" bow with the Gingham Ribbon and show you how in my video.
