New at SU Hop: Kid's Cards

Welcome to the NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of StampinUp! Independent Demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and get you crafting! Today we are showcasing different Kid's Cards using Stampin' UP! products from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog!

I used the Reach for the Stars stamp set and the Stargazing Designer Series Paper (15% off in June) to create my fun Kid's Card! Kids love learning about space, and with the bright colors in the DSP, this Stargazing suite leans towards the young at heart!

The Stargazing Suite includes the Reach for the Stars Stamp Set, Reach for the Stars Dies, Stargazing DSP, and Holographic Specialty Paper.

To add a little more excitement to this Reach for the Stars Bundle, I made a Waterfall Fun Fold. You can learn how to make this Fun Fold over on my YouTube channel when you click HERE.
Kids LOVE cards they can interact with. They will play with it over, and over again! It basically becomes a toy with a handwritten wish on the back.

Here is what the waterfall card looks like in the "resting" state. Then you slowly pull on the ribbon on the bottom to reveal the flip of the next DSP panel and...

...the stamped image or greeting. With one flip we can see the toe of the boot starting to show.

Pull a little more and the legs appear as we flip through the planets above.

Almost there, with the body and hands now visible and the last panel of the planets.

Lastly, we see the secret "You're Stellar" message above and the astronaut in all of his glory! It gives the impression that this new astronaut friend is the one saying "You're Stellar!".

This design doesn't allow much writing "space" on the front, so be sure to add a piece of Basic White to the back and stamp some of your favorite images from the set.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I can't wait to hear from you in the comments below and strongly encourage you to keep hoping along using the links below.
