Fun Fold Friday with this beautiful Birthday Card using the Something Fancy Stamp set and the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper (on Sale in June)! This DSP is quickly becoming one of my favorites!
I am not sure the name of this Fun Fold, but was inspired from another stamper from the Leader's Swap. It has these fun side "doors" that open up when stretched out.
I just LOVE this greeting! Because even as a card maker, I send Birthday wishes late sometimes!
Supplies
Something Fancy Stamp Set
Cheerful Daisies Dies
Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper
Cardstock- Fresh Freesia, Basic White
Vellum
Ink- Fresh Freesia
Tinsel Gems 4 Pack
Measurements
Fresh Freesia: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
4" x 11" scored @ 2", 3 3/4", 7 1/4", & 9"
Basic White: 3" x 3 1/2"
3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
1/2" x 2" (trimmed)
DSP: (2) 1" x 4"
3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Vellum: 4" x 3"
Steps
- Measure, score, and cut your paper.
- Die cut 2 vellum sprigs from the Cheerful Daisies Dies.
- Stamp on the 1/2" x 2" Basic White the "happy birthday" in Fresh Freesia and trim it down to size.
- Stamp on the 3" x 3 1/2" Basic White the inside saying in Fresh Freesia. Glue it to the inside of the 4" x 11".
- Assemble: Glue the DSP panels to the 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Fresh Freesia on both ends. Glue the center of the 4" x 11" Fresh Freesia to the center of the 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (it will cover the DSP a little bit on each side). Glue the DSP to the Basic White matte and attach the left side to the left side of the Fresh Freesia. Attach the vellum sprigs behind the Happy Birthday label and attach label with dimensionals.
- Embellish with the Tinsel Gems.
