Fun Fold Friday- Sale-a-bration Trusty Toolbox DSP Gift Cardholder Card

Fun Fold Friday with this clever gift cardholder card using the Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper, Trusty Toolbox, as the star!

I was able to create a pocket behind the tools for a gift card or secret message to be held. I used the Sale-a-bration Heartfelt Hellos for the greeting to make it into a Valentine's Card. In my video I show how you can make it into a Father's Day card as well with the same stamp set!

This DSP coordinates with the Trusty Tools Bundle. This bundle includes dies that cut out the DSP images, stamped images, and bonus dies, like the screws and bolts above.

I was able to use the DSP in 3 different ways for this card. The cardbase front, the tools, and the peg board. Be sure to watch my video to see how easily this card comes together.
Shop my online store between now and February 29th to earn these FABULOUS Sale-a-bration items.
Pro Tip: Order the Trusty Tools Bundle for $75.50 and get the Trusty Toolbox DSP for FREE!

Supplies

Measurements
Gray Granite Cardbase: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score @ 4 1/4"
DSP: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
2 3/4" x 4 3/4" (peg paper)
Paper with Tools (fussy cut or die out)
Lost Lagoon: 3" x 5"
1 3/4" x 1"
Gray Granite: 2 7/8" x 4 7/8" (die cut from center)
Poppy Parade: 1" scrap

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut your paper with your Paper Trimmer.
  2. Die cut or Fussy cut the tools you want to use from the Trusty Toolbox DSP. Cut out at least 4 of them.
  3. Die cut from the center of the Gray Granite, the nuts and screws.
  4. Heat emboss with greeting you pick onto the Lost Lagoon using the White Embossing Powder, Versmark, and Heat Tool.
  5. Punch out a Poppy Parade heart from the Bee Builder Punch.
  6. Glue the Copper Clay peg board DSP onto the Gray Granite and mark it at the end at 1 1/2" with a pencil (half mark). Use the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch to punch out a "notch" for the gift card to slide out easier. See Video.
  7. Glue the tools and screws to the DSP and flip over to the back to attach the Adhesive Foam Strips. Use a gift card or a piece of paper that measures the same as a gift card (about 3 1/2" 2 1/4") to help measure where to put the foam strips. Attach to the Lost Lagoon matte.
  8. Glue the DSP to the cardfront and then liquid glue the peg board gift holder. Glue the top part of the greeting label and attach to the peg board as well. Glue on the little heart.
