One of my greatest tips on saving money when making cards is to not waste paper. If the paper is going to be part of a layer, find ways to use the middle.
To create my Simple Adventurous Sky card (click HERE to see tutorial on that), I used my matte to die cut the other Basic White pieces. I am just always careful to give myself that outer edge space that will be showing, left untouched! I massed produced this card for a swap. I literally save a whole sheet of cardstock, which in the long run, adds up!
