Layout Love September- Winterly Tops

 

Here is my Layout Love design for September using Stampin' UP! Wintery Tops bundle! 

Each month my friend team and I design cards using the same layout and create a pdf to send just to our customers who order that month! It is great way to see the layout using different products. 

I was first stumped when I saw this layout, but found a sample on page 66 using the Bistro Burger.

Measurements

Pool Party Cardbase: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored @ 4 1/4"

DSP: 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"

Basic Black: 1 3/4" x 2 1/4"

Gray Granite: 3" x 5" (cut in half)

Steps

1. Measure, score, and cut your paper. 
2. Die cut the Basic Black with the Nested Essentials Dies 3rd largest rectangle with rounded corners. Use Versamark, White Embossing Powder, and your heat tool to stamp the "sending thanks and much love". 
3. Die cut the birds from the DSP. 
4. Banner the ends of the Gray Granite and cut in half. Glue to the cardbase at an angle. 
5. Cover the banner with the DSP. 
6. Make a Linen Thread nest (wrapped 3 times around 4 fingers) and attach to the back of the DSP die cut. With Dimensionals attach to the DSP. Attach the heat embossed Basic Black with dimensionals. 
7. Embellish with 3 Transparent Adhesive Backed Dots.
