Measurements:

 

·       Pool Party Card Stock Card Base – 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, Score at 4 1/4”

·       Pretty Peacock Card Stock – Cut (2) 4 x 3 1/4” and cut (1) 4 x 1 3/4”

·       Basic White Card Stock – Cut (1) 3 7/8” x 3 1/8” and cut (1) 2 1/2” x 2 1/2”

·       Lost Lagoon card Stock – Cut (1) 2 1/2” x 2 1/2”

·       Otterly Adorable DSP – Cut a 3 3/4” x 3 1/8” section of an otter “scene” and cut into 3 equal 1 1/4” panel sections.

·       Otterly Adorable DSP – Cut a 3 7/8” x 1 5/8” section of the Lost Lagoon “water-colored waves” paper.

·       Black & Very Vanilla 3/8” Large Check Ribbon -- 8”

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Lay the scored card base flat and turn 90° so the card “front” is at the “top” position. Place in trimmer and cut from the card edge to the center score at 3 1/2”. (This will create a 3 1/2” flap and a 2” flap on the card front.)

2.     Fold the split card front along the score line and glue the 2” bottom section to the card base.

3.      Evenly space and center the 3 “Otter scene” sections and adhere to the one of the 4” x 3 1/4” pieces of Pretty Peacock.

4.     Attached this newly created panel to the upper “flap” of the card front.

5.     Die cut the 2 1/2” x 2 1/2” Basic White Card Stock piece using the 1 7/8” circle from Everyday Details dies. Stamp “You’re Otterly Amazing” sentiment in the center of this circle with Pretty Peacock ink.

6.     Die cut the 2 1/2” x 2 1/2” Lost Lagoon Card Stock piece using the 2 1/8” circle from Stylish Shapes dies.

7.     Adhere the Basic White Card Stock circle onto the Lost Lagoon Card Stock circle.

8.     Create a bow using Black & Very Vanilla 3/8” Large Check Ribbon and attach to the top of the Basic White Card Stock sentiment circle. Set aside.

9.     Die cut the school of fish as shown in image on the 3 7/8” x 1 5/8” piece of Otterly Adorable DSP Lost Lagoon “water-colored waves” and repeat process on the 3 7/8” x 3 1/8” Basic White Card Stock piece.

10. Stamp the “love you lots” sentiment onto lower right of the die cut 3 7/8” x 3 1/8” Basic White Card Stock piece.

11. Adhere this panel to the second 4” x 3 1/4” piece of Pretty Peacock Card Stock.

12. Adhere completed panel, centered, to upper portion of inside of card.

13. Adhere the 3 7/8” x 1 5/8” Otterly Adorable DSP Lost Lagoon “water-colored waves” with the die cut (schooling fish) to the 4” x 1 3/4” piece of Pretty Peacock Card Stock.

14. Adhere this completed panel to the lower (previously glued) section of the card.

15. Close the card.

16. Finish by adhering 3 dimensionals to the upper back portion of the sentiment/bow circle and attach to lower left edge of top “flap” section of card.

·       Ink:  Early Espresso (147114)

·       Tools:  Bone Folder (102300), Paper Trimmer (152392), So Swirly Embossing Folder (163791), Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)

·       Miscellaneous: Riverside Irregular Pearls (164937), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813),

Measurements:

·       Balmy Card Base:  4 ¼” x 11”; score at 5 ½”

·       Balmy Blue Cardstock 4” x 5 ¼”

·       Pecan Pie Cardstock 3” x 4”

·       Basic White Cardstock 2 ¾” x 4”; 4” x 5 ¼” for inside

·       Otterly Adorable DSP – die cut otters

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Cut each piece listed in the measurements above.

2.     Score Balmy Blue Cardstock at 5 ½”; fold in half to form the card base.

3.     Emboss Balmy Blue Cardstock layer with the So Swirly Embossing Folder and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine; adhere embossed cardstock to the card front.

4.     Adhere Pecan Pie Cardstock layer to the card front.

5.     Stamp sentiment onto the Basic White Cardstock layer using Early Espresso ink; adhere to the card front.

6.     Die cut otters from Otterly Adorable DSP; adhere to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7.     Embellish card front with Riverside Irregular Pearls.

8.     Adhere Basic White Cardstock panel inside card.
