Layered Thoughts Happy Birthday

 

Check out these Happy Birthday cards I made for a swap using the Layered Thoughts Stamp Set! 

This card is considered a Fun Fold, but is very easy to make. 

The piece that was cut off the front of the cardbase is the piece matte that has the Happy Birthday on it. 

It is a great way to save paper. 

I used the NEW Sentimental Framing Dies. 

I put the frame part of the Basic White in the inside and used the center to stamp "Happy Birthday".

Measurements

Strawberry Slush: 4 1/4" x 11" scored @ 5 1/2" & cut @ 2 3/4"

Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4"

DSP: 4" 2 1/2"

Steps

1. Measure, score, and cut your paper. 
2. Die cut from the Basic White the Sentimental Dies. Save the center to stamp "Happy Birthday" in Strawberry Slush. 
3. Glue the DSP to the front of the cardbase. Glue the cut 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" to the Basic White with the "Happy Birthday". Attach that to the card front using Dimensionals. Glue the Basic White frame to the inside of the card. 
4. Embellish with one Strawberry Slush Flat Pearl.
