Layout Challenge!

This month we are using a layout from the Stampin' UP! Catalog to copy or inspire us with our own scrapbook page. 

Here is the layout I choose! However, it is designed for a 12" x 12" page and I make a 6" x 8" pages. So, I used the layout but got rid of all of the "white" space on the other edge of the layout. 

I am working on my daughter's mission album and literally just started. These pages are when we said good bye to her at the airport, knowing we would not be able to hug her for another 18 months! 

I used one piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock measuring @ 6 1/8" x 8 1/4" and flipped it to scrap on the other side. 

I cut each photo down to be 3" x 4" and used the Stylish Shapes Dies to create the banner and circle from the Remember This Day Memories & More Card Pack. 

I also die cut from the card pack with the Perennial Postage Dies to create a journaling spot. 

I used retired letter dies, Hand-Lettered Prose Dies, for the "Hugs, &," and "Love".
