Double Feature Friday with Framed Violets

Framed Violets

Supplies:

·       Stamp Sets: Framed Violets (168187)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Highland Heather Cardstock (146986); Gorgeous Grape Cardstock (146987); Basic White Cardstock (166780); Violet Dreams Specialty Designer Series Paper  (168186)

·       Stamp Pads: Barely Blush Ink (167678); Highland Heather Ink (147103); Gorgeous Grape Ink (147099); Basic Black Hybrid Ink (166648)

·       Tools: Framed Violet Dies (168193); Highland Heather Blend Combo (154887); Peaceful Pink Blend Combo (167668); Daffodil Delight Dark Blend (154883)

·       Miscellaneous: Adhesive Baked Blooms (168198); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813)

 

Measurements:

 

·       Highland Heather Card Stock: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”

·       Gorgeous Grape Card Stock: 5 ¼” x 4”

·       Basic White Card Stock: 4 ¼” x 6”

·       DSP: 5” x 1 ¼”, 3 x 2 3/8”, 2 x 2 3/8”

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Fold the card base in half to create a 5-1/2" × 4-1/4" card.

2.     Adhere the three pieces of Designer Series Paper to the Gorgeous Grape cardstock layer using Seal Adhesive, as shown.

3.     Adhere the completed Gorgeous Grape layer to the card base.

4.     Stamp the scalloped frame in Gorgeous Grape ink, then die-cut it.

5.     Stamp the violet image in Black Ink and die-cut it.

6.     On the inside of the frame, stamp the dotted background on the left side using Barely Blush ink. Stamp the greeting on the right side using Highland Heather ink.

7.     Color the violet image with Stampin' Blends. Adhere it over the dotted background using Stampin' Dimensionals.

8.     Add three embellishments around the greeting, as shown.

9.     Attach the completed frame to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

10. Stamp your inside and envelope to match.

·       Stamp Pads: Secret Sea (165285);

·       Tools: Perennial Postage Dies (162607); Stampin’ Cut Emboss Machine (149653); Paper Trimmer (152392)

·       Miscellaneous: Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813); Adhesive Backed Blooms (168198); Fresh Freesia ¼” Satin Ribbon (168199);

 

Measurements:

 

·       Peaceful Pine Card Stock: 8 1/2” x 5 ½”

·       Violet Dreams DSP: 4” x 5 ¼”

·       Secret Sea Card Stock: 2 ¼” x 4 ¾”

·       Violet Dreams DSP: 2” x 4 ½”

·       Gorgeous Grape scrap for die cut

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Fold card base in half.  Adhere 4” x 5 ¼” piece of DSP to base.

2.     Adhere DSP piece to Secret Sea card stock piece.  Adhere to front of card.

3.     Die cut postage stamp die. Stamp sentiment.

4.     Fold ribbon in thirds and adhere to front of card.

5.     Adhere postage die over ribbon with dimensionals.

6.     Add embellishments.
