Measurements:

 

·       Real Red Cardstock: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”; 4” x 5 1/4"

·       Basic White Cardstock:  1” x 4 1/4"; 1” x 2 1/2"

·       Crumb Cake Cardstock:  2 1/2" x 3”

·       Old Olive Cardstock:  2” x 3 1/2"

·       Gold Foil: 1” x 1”

·       A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper:  3 3/4" x 5”

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Fold Real Red Cardstock in half and adhere A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper.

2.     Using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, die cut the 4^th from largest Everyday Arches die in the center of the Real Red Cardstock layer.  Adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

3.     Ink Mouse with Basic Black Hybrid ink and stamp on the Crumb Cake Cardstock.  Ink Candy Cane with Basic Black Hybrid ink and stamp on Basic White 1” x 2 1/2" piece.  Using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, die cut images with coordinating dies.  Use the Real Red Dark Blend to color Candy Cane and the Petal Pink Dark to color mouse’s stomach, feet, tail, ear and cheek.

4.     Using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, to die cut the Tree die from the Old Olive and Star die from the Gold Foil.  Adhere images to card base, setting within the arch’s opening, with adhesive of choice.

5.     Ink Greeting with Basic Black Hybrid ink and stamp on the far-right side of the Basic White 1” x 4 ¼” piece of cardstock.  Adhere layer to Real Red Cardstock with adhesive of choice on the edges and Stampin’ Dimensionals in the center.

6.     Position Mouse and Candy Cane on card’s left side, securing to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Measurements:

 

·       Thick Basic White: 5 ½” x 6 ½” scored @ 4 ¼” on long side

·       Basic White:  3 ¼” x 4 ½”;  3 ½” square – cut 2

·       Golden Glow: 5/8” x 3 1/8”

·       Mossy Meadow: 3” square

·       Real Red: 2 ½” square

·       A Little Christmas DSP: 4” x 5 1/4” (plaid); 2” x 5 ¼” (candy cane/bows); Caroling Mice cut from DSP with largest Stylish Shapes circle die; mouse with candy cane – cut from DSP with the 3^rd largest Stylish Shapes circle die

 

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Use the Thick White cardstock to create the card base. Burnish along score line.

2.     Adhere the plaid DSP to the inside panel of the card.  

3.     Adhere the candy cane/bows DSP pattern to front flap of card.

4.     Stamp sentiment on the Golden Glow strip and use Detail Scissors to flag the end of panel. Stamp sentiment onto the 3 ¼” x 4 ½” panel of Basic White (for inside of card).Set aside.

5.     Use Stylish Shape dies to cut the circles:  Cut one of the largest circle dies with the Basic White cardstock that is 3 ½” square.  Cut a Mossy Meadow circle with the second largest die.   Cut a Real Red circle with the third largest die. 

6.     Use the second 3 ½” square piece of Basic White to create a frame – use the two largest circle dies and position on cardstock.  Use a post it note or repositionable tape to secure the circles before running through the die cutting machine.

7.     Position the largest circle onto the DSP and crop the caroling mice.  

8.     Position the third largest circle onto the DSP and crop the mouse with candy cane.

9.     Adhere the inside Basic White panel with sentiment to the inside of card.

10. Adhere the Mossy Meadow and Real Red circles to front flap of card.

11. Adhere the Basic White circle frame around the mice.

12. Adhere the largest Basic White circle to inside panel of card.  Note: put glue on the wrong side of this circle so that when it is attached to the card, the right side shows on inside part of card.

13. Adhere the caroling mice and frame to the circle, positioning so that they align with each other.

14. The framed circle with cover part of the Real Red and Mossy Meadow circles.

15. Add the die cut circle with the mouse/candy cane to inside circle.

16. Add sentiment banner to card front with Dimensionals.

17. Use a Mini Glue Dot to add a knot of Multicolor Christmas Baker’s Twine.

18. Add star embellishments on inside panel of card – position so that they show when the card is closed.

This month we showing how to use Stampin' UP! Punches for scrapbooking!  
I created a 6" x 8" layout for my pocket style album and will feature a 3" x 3" photo. 
Watch my video to see how to create that sliding journal spot with the

 Rounded Rectangle Punch. 

I used the Bee Builder Punch and had to pick with bee to use. 

Left Bee: All stamped on Basic White with different ink colors. 

Bee Right: Stamped on different cardstock colors with the same ink. 

The banners on the top left corner were made using the 3 Banner Punch. Watch my video to see how to make each banner the same size. 

My Tip for using Punches is to pick the right size of Paper and to make sure you are stamping in the matching direction of the punch. 

For the Bee Builder Punch I wrote the measurements best to use for paper when you just want one of those punch images. 

Little Heart: 1" x 2"

Big Heart/Wings: 1 1/2" x 3"

Bee Body: 1 1/2" x 3"

You need enough paper to hold on to, so keep that in mind. Also, you can create a mask to stamp through if you are worried about punch line up. 

The Pool Party shows where I stamped the wrong direction and could not punch it out.

Fun Fold Friday- Painted Pumpkins Pop Up Card

The Painted Patch DSP was really the star for this card. I only stamped once and that was for the greeting. 

*I used an early release embellishment and this one isn't available yet. 

I used the DSP for the squares on the Pop Up center but you could use Basic White and have stamped images on there as well. I just loved the DSP so much and it was a time savor. Images ready and colored!

But where would you write a message on this card? Don't worry, we got your back! 

You can write a message on the Basic White on the back center of this card. Don't forget to save your DSP scraps to put at the bottom of Basic White. 

I ran out of my first design with the DSP and switched it out to this mini pumpkin center and leaf front and LOVE this result as well! So, feel free to mix and match your DSP and create so many different combo creations!

Measurements

Cajun Craze: 5 1/2" x 10 1/2" scored @ 3 1/2" & 7" (base)

1 1/2" x 6" (cut 3), scored @ 1 1/2", 3, & 4 1/2", 2" x 2" (pumpkin)

Pool Party: 3 1/2" x 3/4"

Basic White: 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" (back), 3 1/2" x 3" (arch)

Secret Sea: 2" x 2"

Golden Glow:1" x 1"

DSP: 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" (cut 3), 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" (cut 6), 3 1/4" x 1/2" (back)

Steps

1. Measure, score and cut your paper. 
2. Die cut the Cajun Craze Pumpkin, Golden Glow stem and Secret Sea Leaves.
3. Die cut the arch with the 6th smallest arch and them emboss. 
4. Stamp onto the Pool Party with Secret Sea, "Hello Gourd-geous" to the far left. 
5. Glue DSP to each panel. 
6. Pop Up: Then glue the DSP squares to the 1 1/2" x 6" cardstock. Trim the ends of the cardstock just a "smidge". Glue by lining up the score lines of the cardstock to the inside of the card at the 7 inch score line. Start with the top, bottom, then middle to help with spacing. *Tip, when cutting DSP squares be sure to cut them side by side for the DSP and so you can have it line up nicely. 
7. Front: Liquid glue the arch. Use Stampin' Dimensionals for the Pool Party. Create the pumpkin by using a Glue Dot for the stem and Dimensionals behind the top of the bottom and behind one leaf. Embellish with 3 gems. Use Wink of Stella on the top half of the pumpkin. 
8. Back: Glue the DSP strip to the bottom of the Basic White and attach to the center back of the cardbase.
