Fun Fold Friday-Magic Mother's Day Slider Card

Ready for the secret behind this magic card? The secret is really quite wonderful, I used the Fine Art Floral DSP with the Golden Garden Acetate Sheets! These sheets match perfectly with some of the paper in the Fine Art Floral set which creates the perfect magic card.

Rectangle Stitched Dies
Fine Art Ribbon
Snail Mail Twine
1 inch circle punch
hole punch
Pool Party Cardstock
Petal Pink Cardstock
All Dressed Up Dies
Gold or White Embossing powder
VersaMark Ink

Measurements
Thick Whisper White Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4 (optional)
Pool Party: 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 scored on short side @ 4 1/4, scored on long side @ 2 3/4 & 5 3/4
DSP & Acetate: 4 x 2 3/4
Inside Flap Basic White: 3 3/4 x 2 3/4

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut your paper. 
  2. Cut off above the score line to the score line on each side. 
  3. Die cut the smaller stitched rectangle in the middle of the Pool Party. 
  4. Create gold frame by die cutting the smaller rectangle (same one from above) with one size bigger rectangle. Glue over the open space on the pocket. 
  5. Punch our a Petal Pink circle and glue to the top middle of the DSP & Acetate. Then create a hole with the punch and thread the ribbon through. Use the twine to create a bow on the ribbon. 
  6. Glue the Inside Basic White flap to the tab of the Pool Party. Then fold the ends and glue it shut. 
  7. Attach the DSP/Acetate to the pocket but place the Basic White insert between them. 
  8. Die cut the label shape from the All Dressed Up Dies and emboss with gold powder your Mother's Day greeting. Attach with glue dots. 
  9. *Make the card full size by attaching magic pocket to a cardbase with tear tape.
