Demo Swap Spring & Easter Cards

 

This month for Demo Swap the theme was Easter or Spring and to use two of the selective colors: Pear Pizzazz, Polished Pink, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Fresh Freesia.

The Demo Swap ladies meet every other month in the Salt Lake City area in Utah. This is a group I helped started right after my first Stampin' UP! Convention about 8 years ago! Even though I have moved to two different states since, I still get to participate through mail. 

Here is the card I made for this swap! I used the Tulip Dies, Flowering Tulips Stamp Set, and for the greeting used the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set. I made a Wonderful Wednesday Card with a video very similar to this one and only changed out the saying, the paper for the tulips and added the tulip border to the inside. 

I created this little hill of tulips using one of the colors that was part of the swap. I love this small but added detail. 

I just love the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper and used vellum to lay over it so you can still see this beautiful paper, but created a much needed extra layer. 

Of course I have some the Brush Bass Butterflies to embellish it with. 

I made four total for this swap and you can see that not a single card is the "same" due to the paper I used to make the tulips with. I just love this! 

Which do you like better? Left (darker tulips) or Right (lighter tulips)?
