Miss Monday- Peace To You Christmas Card

 

Miss Monday with some Blushing Bride mixed with Christmas. I used the Peace To You stamp set that is found in the Mini Catalog for Stampin' UP! 

This card was made for a swap for Christmas cards only but I couldn't help but make a Fun Fold too! 

I just LOVE the tender moment Mary is having with baby Jesus with this stamped image. She looks to be gingerly kissing his forehead or "breathing" him in as Joseph stands near to watch over them. 

I know this isn't a classic Christmas card but I hope you give it a try when you stamp with the Peace To You stamp set! 

Supplies

Peace To You Stamp Set

Brushstroke Specialty Paper

Paper- Basic White, Blushing Bride

Ink- Blushing Bride

Measurements

Blushing Bride Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4

Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4

2 1/2 x 3 3/4

Blushing Bride: 4 x 2 3/4  (cut from the cardbase)

DSP: 4 x 2 1/2

Steps

1. Measure, score, and cut your paper. 
2. Stamp in Blushing Bride onto the smaller Basic White the image. 
3. Stamp in Blushing Bride on the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White the greeting about mid top and center (see photo above). 
4. Glue the Brushstroke DSP onto the front bottom of the cardbase. 
5. Glue the Basic White to the inside of the card.
6. Glue the Blushing Bride and Basic White rectangles together and glue to the bottom of the card front. Be sure to cover the stamped greeting in the inside.
