It is a glitter brush pen. It is wet glitter that dries and has very low transfer. When I say "low transfer" I mean it doesn't rub off onto everything like loose glitter! It is amazing and makes things look magical! I usually use it on stamped images over ink but my tip to you today is for you to use it on cardstock too! Mind you, you don't want to paint the whole 4 x 5 1/4 of paper (you could, but I would not recommend it). Look at the images below to see some spots I added it to.
The Pumpkin Pie trim on the hat.
The punched out Blackberry Bliss stars on the hat.
You can Wink of Stella your paper before you glue it to something or after! It truly is the best!
Miss Monday with some Blushing Bride mixed with Christmas. I used the Peace To You stamp set that is found in the Mini Catalog for Stampin' UP!
This card was made for a swap for Christmas cards only but I couldn't help but make a Fun Fold too!
I just LOVE the tender moment Mary is having with baby Jesus with this stamped image. She looks to be gingerly kissing his forehead or "breathing" him in as Joseph stands near to watch over them.
I know this isn't a classic Christmas card but I hope you give it a try when you stamp with the Peace To You stamp set!
Stamp in Blushing Bride onto the smaller Basic White the image.
Stamp in Blushing Bride on the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White the greeting about mid top and center (see photo above).
Glue the Brushstroke DSP onto the front bottom of the cardbase.
Glue the Basic White to the inside of the card.
Glue the Blushing Bride and Basic White rectangles together and glue to the bottom of the card front. Be sure to cover the stamped greeting in the inside.
Today's Fun Fold was inspired by Lisa's Stamp Studio and her Best Z Fold Cards!
I really, really like the images in this stamp set though... Speedy Recovery. You could just about any stamp set or Designer Series Paper with this design, but these images and sayings are pretty awesome!
Because the card is so thick in the inside, it is a good idea to have a "belly band" around the card.
The Belly Band is something you can slide off and on. Watch my video to see the secret about this Belly Band.
This stamp set does not have any dies or punches, so I needed to fussy cut the tissue box and the cup.
You can make this card too when you shop from my online store and by following the directions below.
Die cut the largest Stylish Shapes square and stamp on it the spoon and greeting.
Cut the Gray Granite Z fold from the 2 inch mark to the diagonal to the top left corner (see video).
Take the 2 x 4 3/8 DSP and line it up to the first panel on the Z Fold. Mark it along the top to create an angle cut. Use the DSP as a guide for the rest of the panels. Trim the bottom of the panel as needed (see video).
Stamp in Gray Granite the flowers and the greeting onto to the Basic White panels. Color the images with Stampin' Blends and use the Wink of Stella for the flower centers.
Stamp in Gray Granite the tissue box and cup onto a scrap of Basic White and fussy cut them out.
Stamp in Mint Macaron the top of the flowers onto the Belly Band.
Glue the panels to the Z fold and attach the fussy cut images with dimensionals.
Glue all the matching mattes together for the front and inside.
Glue down the Z fold by putting adhesive on the back of the far right side panel (the one with the words) and attach the the corner and edge of the inside of the card. Do the same thing for the far left panel.
Wrap the Belly Band around the card and place dimensionals on both ends. Attach the square over the dimensionals. There will be a gap but the square will cover it (see video).
